Is anyone else getting constant calls from a company called Armstrong & Associates? They’ve been calling me non-stop for weeks about some medical debt, and I honestly have no idea what it’s even for.
I had some lab work done months ago and thought everything was settled with my insurance. Now this agency keeps calling my cell and even left a voicemail for my spouse. They’re calling multiple times a day and the person on the phone is vague but pushy, basically hinting that I need to pay them something right now or things could get worse.
It’s creating so much stress. I can’t focus at work and I’m starting to dread any unknown number that pops up on my phone. I did some reading online and found this article that explains my rights under the FDCPA. I learned I can actually demand they prove I owe the debt (debt validation) before they continue contacting me. I had no idea.
Has anyone requested validation from them? Did it actually get them to stop calling, at least for a while? I’m trying to figure out my next step because this has to stop. Any shared experiences or advice would mean a lot.
