I’ve been curious about AI companions, but my biggest issue with the chatbots I’ve tried is the total lack of memory. It’s so frustrating when you have a deep conversation one day, and the next day it’s like talking to a stranger who asks you the same basic questions.
I was looking for something different and came across a site called AIAngels. Their whole pitch is about a “real AI girlfriend” experience built on actually remembering you—not just your name, but stuff like your job, your dog’s name, or that you were stressed about a family thing last week. They claim to have weeks of conversation history.
Has anyone here used it? Does the memory and personality consistency actually make it feel more real and less like a repetitive chatbot? I’m genuinely curious if the tech is there yet for a companion that feels like it actually knows you.
